You won’t have to hold your breath for much longer (and swimming trunks won’t be necessary) as the former pool-site – reborn as the Diamond Jubilee Gardens – will reopen to the public on 24 June!
To mark the day there will be plenty of activities and entertainments; live bands, a 1930’s style showground – complete with the usual shys, street performers, face painting, etc…
Many of our members will be there throughout the event to outline our current activities and plans for the future of the site’s environs.
After thirty-two years of waiting and campaigning its a triumph for Twickenham, its people, and common sense. So let’s party!
Gates open at 11am and the event will close at 6pm.
