The alternative proposals on display at Arthur’s are inspired by community support for public open space and use of the pool site – a centre for Twickenham providing amenity and activity for young and old: ball sport, markets, exhibitions, open-air ice skating. Once the pool site is built on it is the end to any future public use or amenity.
Help ensure that the collective voice of the community send’s a clear message to the Council. We do not wish to have this historic public open space amenity built on. The Council has a duty of care, after 28 years, to honour its responsibility for the welfare and open air activity of future generations.
